Join BARC, The Humane Society at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living, 1625 W. Spring Street for an All American 4th of July!!
This is a fund raiser for Disabled American Veteran Chapter 64 with the proceeds going toward the purchase of a much needed van to transport our veterans to the Temple and Waco VA Clinics.
The day will start with a pet show to be judged by BARC at 10am. Also, pets will be available for adoption. Different events, cake walks, entertainment by Yesteryear, Cherokee County Cloggers, Dogwood Squares, many games for the kids, all free. Hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon by the slice and drinks will be sold. A silent auction will be held with bidding ending at 3:30pm. Grab your lawn chairs and join us July 4th, 10am – 4pm. Donating is easy! Just hit the donate button and you can donate through your Pay Pal account or with your credit card. Make a donation of a dollar or more, every little bit helps and we appreciate every penny. This year we are faced with hard times as many non-profits are, costs are rising while donations are shrinking and our animal needs are ever increasing. We are asking the public to remember animals more than ever with times as they are.
Help us by just by doing your shopping! Partcipate in the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program. If you will click on “Downloads” on the left side of the page and then click on “Kroger Charities” you will see a letter you can print out. The letter contains a bar code that can be scanned along with your Kroger Card, your Kroger Card will then be linked to BARC, The Humane Society, who will recieve a donation based on the amount our supporters spend at Kroger stores. As always, BARC, The Humane Society thanks you for your support.
